Ocean Echo 1

Dear friends. 04. January. 2025

It has been over a year since my last blog entry. Ocean Echo 1 is sold and gone. I was busy getting Ocean Echo 1 sailboat ready for the sale and dealing with the interested parties. After she was sold I started serious search for RV (recreational vehicle, motorhome, campervan). A lot of retired offshore sailors end up getting into highway cruising. I guess we like to move around and see beautiful places elsewhere.

This means that I am starting a new chapter in my life after 37 years of sailing.

I ended up purchasing RV in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The drive from Edmonton AL to Vancouver BC was via northern part of Canadian Rocky Mountains (Rockies) and the dry Interior of British Columbia. I am sharing some pictures from these areas with you in this blog. Other pics are from Sunshine Coast north of Vancouver and Whistler, BC.

Over all I have not done much of traveling in the last few months. I am currently busy upgrading my RV/campervan for the future travels. I will be posting pictures of some nice places in the future at this blog.

The world is screwed up politically. Please stay positive, focus on yours, your family's and friend's well being and personal health. The life is short and fragile (I know that from my own experience).
