I would like to share photos from Philippine islands with you. I have visited Philippines (PH) during November and December 2019.
It is a beautiful country with over 7100 islands. Climate in PH is tropical and subtropical. Dry season would be January to April. Typhoons can occur in PH during May/June until November/December. Basically 8 months of the year, which is long Typhoon season in comparison with other tropical countries. East coast of PH can be rainy any time of the year due to Pacific weather systems approaching PH islands.
Diving and snorkeling is very enjoyable in Philippines. It is because PH are part of Coral Triangle - Borneo, Philippines, Western New Guinea (Indonesian part of New Guinea). Coral Triangle and Indonesia are home to over 600 kinds of corals and many unique sea creatures.
Coron island (next to Busuanga island) and El Nido area at Northwest end of Palawan island are rated among most beautiful islands in the World. It is fairly busy in these 2 destinations, but worth to see (at least once) even with huge crowds of tourists. Rest of 7100 PH islands are not as busy as mentioned Coron and El Nido destinations. Limestone creations in these 2 areas are unbelievable.
However most of PH islands are very peaceful and enjoyable. Plenty of room for everyone to find quiet spot to relax.
Main International airports in PH are Manila and Cebu.
Ferry service between islands is good, but can have surprises due to weather or other factors. There are several private ferry service providers/companies in PH.
Filipino - Tagalog is main language in PH. English is spoken everywhere. Driving is on right side of the road.
Manila is very busy city with large population. Manila's downtown, airport and near by areas can have difficult traffic with long delays.
Motorcycle rental is very popular among tourists at PH islands. It allows us to explore remote areas of interest and have some privacy and fun.
